Como londinense de nacimiento, mis viajes por el mundo han despertado en mí la pasión por compartir las joyas ocultas y las historias inéditas de la ciudad. Tras varios años enseñando inglés, decidí combinar mis pasiones, la historia y los viajes, y convertirme en guía turística para mostrar a los visitantes los rincones menos conocidos de mi maravillosa ciudad. Soy un apasionado de la historia de corazón, y también me encanta ver y practicar deportes, así como escapar de la ciudad para hacer senderismo y sumergirme en la naturaleza.
We were truly impressed by Alex’s extensive knowledge of London’s history, the River Thames, and the surrounding areas. He made the tour incredibly engaging, sharing fascinating stories along with historical photographs that gave us a real sense of how the area has changed over time. Thanks to his local insight, we discovered a part of London we would’ve otherwise missed. The pub he recommended at the end was the best meal of our trip! We’re so glad we came across him!
Alex was a fantastic guide, really bringing to life the history of the city which has such an interesting and surprising past! I loved that we visited parts which you wouldn’t get to see normally, and places of great interest and significance which you may just walk by with little notice! Alex was such a great story teller making the long history of London entertaining, interactive and easy to understand! I would recommend this tour if you are just visiting, but also if you have lived in London for years!

This is the second tour I’ve done with Alex (can also recommend his Thames walk!) and it didn’t disappoint. As a local, I really enjoyed learning more about the history of England and re-seeing sites I’ve walked by countless times with a new perspective and context! Given the breadth of the history, it’s a great intro tour to anyone visiting England or London for the first time - or for anyone planning to do their Life in the UK test. This was a really nice experience. It was actulaly the first tour I took in London and I highly recommend you to do the same if you want to learn about the history of London as it is strongly related to the Thames. Alex is a very good guide. Very informative and entertaining. He also answered to all of our questions.
