Welcome to Aleppo, a city where history is not only preserved, but lived every day.
I’m Ahmad, a licensed local tour guide based in Aleppo, with over 30 years of experience guiding visitors through Aleppo’s history, architecture, and daily life. My tours go beyond well-known landmarks to offer a deeper, more authentic understanding of the city and its people.
As a guide, my aim is to create a safe, respectful, and enriching experience, shaped by long experience and close local knowledge. We explore at a comfortable pace, focusing on context, stories, and the small details that often go unnoticed.
I am a member of the Aleppo Antiquities Society, actively involved in preserving and interpreting the city’s cultural heritage. I am also recognized on the TripAdvisor forum as a Destination Expert for Syria, where I contribute informed and practical insights to help travelers better understand the country.
If you are looking for a thoughtful walking tour led by someone who truly knows Aleppo, I would be happy to welcome you.
Fantastico!
Despite The National Museum was closed, Ahamad took me round extensively around Citadel and old town with so many information. I was the only attendant. Highly recommended. If you need information on Aleppo, contact Ahmad Magribi on face book.
If you want to know all hidden gems of Aleppo, Ahmad will take you there. He is kind and professional, adapts to your pace and interests. Very good English. Highly recommend!
