Such a great experience! Zaher is super friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. His knowledge of the city’s architectural, religious, and political history is impressive, and he explains everything in such an interesting and engaging way. By the end of the tour, you will not only have learned a lot about the city’s history, but you will also have a great sense of where to go and what to explore. Couldn’t recommend him more! 10/10 guide!

Wonderful tour of Beirut with Zaher. I was able to learn about the history of Beirut and also given information about more places to see and activities. He knew the city very well. He was also very kind and slowed down for my pace too which I really appreciated.

Posiblemente el mejor tour que he tenido nunca. Se le nota la pasión que tiene tanto por su país, como por su historia, arte y cultura. Me contestó muchas dudas que tenía por el camino y me ayudó en todo lo que necesité. 100% recomendable

Regarding Beirut and Mira. I did the free walking tour with her which was fantastic. Mira was absolutely wonderful with her knowledge, enthusiasm and professionalism. We walked around for about 2 hours. Covered maybe 4km in central and coastal Beirut. There is wonderful restored colonial architecture. There are Roman and Phoenician ruins. There are fantastic churches and mosques to see. Outdoor sculpture and art. Trees. Beirut has very modern and chic restaurants and shops lining the central streets. I’ve never seen so many luxury cars apparently owned by both Christians and Muslims. Airport is about 10-15 minutes from downtown. Mira was absolutely fantastic with her knowledge, enthusiasm and professionalism. Highly recommended. Not to be missed.

Zaher exceeded all my expectations. We came to Beirut knowing very little about the city’s history. After this tour, we have learnt so much that we feel we understand the modern city much better. Our guide was passionately and knowledgeable about all aspects, and he communicated exceptionally well to help us understand how history, culture and politics have shaped the city. It was a great way to start the day and learn! I would highly recommend Zaher as a guide

If you’re interested in knowing more about the rich history of Beirut this tour is just what you need. Mira is a licensed professional, well educated and has a lot of history and information to tell you. The tour takes you through the early Phoenician and roman era, all the way to the recent Lebanese civil war of which many chapters happened around downtown beirut, Especially the infamous battle of the hotels. The holiday Inn hotel still stands as a silent reminder today. Take the tour, and Mira will tell you more !

I discovered the Free Walk concept last year in Beirut with Mira. This was my second walk with her. Mira is truly very professional, passionate about her work, and deeply in love with her city and its culture. She is knowledgeable about history, culture, politics, economics; really every topic you can think of. While talking and listening to her, I didn’t even notice how time flew by! Every time I come to Beirut, I choose this walk, and I highly recommend it to everyone who visits this wonderful city.

Super wycieczka i super przewodnik.
