Bishamba - Tour Guide in Mombasa

We had a great time on our tour! Bishamba is really friendly, very knowledgeable, and helped us learn a lot about the history of Mombasa and the sites we saw. Bring extra money to buy food from the market and souvenirs (we particularly liked the sugarcane juice we stopped for) - she knows all the best spots.

Bishamba was an amazing tour guide. She messaged us before the tour to tell us where to meet and sent us a pic of her self so we didn't miss her. During the tour, it was clear she was very knowledgeable. She provided us information, not only about the sites we visited, but also about life in Kenya, and the various cultures. She also took us near the water to enjoy a local snack and coffee. She answered all of our questions and was such a big help in recommending what to do during our trip. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten einen sehr interessanten und informativen Stadtrundgang durch Mombasa. Bishamz führte uns mit ihrem fundierten Wissen zu den spannendsten Orten der Stadt. Der Spaziergang war sehr authentisch und wir fühlten uns jederzeit gut aufgehoben. Sie zeigte uns einige Plätze, die wir ohne lokale Begleitung vermutlich nicht entdeckt hätten, darunter eine kleine Seitenstraße und eine traditionelle Teppichweberei. Außerdem zeigte sie uns auch einige Streetfood- Stände, in denen wir auf Wunsch die Einheimischen Spezialitäten probieren konnten. Dabei hatten wir nie das Gefühl, zu etwas gedrängt zu werden oder mehr als Einheimische bezahlen zu müssen. Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungener Rundgang, den wir sehr empfehlen können. Gerne wieder, wenn wir nochmal in Mombasa sind.
