jérôme - Tour Guide in Avignon

My name is Jérôme Bergami. I'm 51 years old. I'm a writer and a speaker : I write adventure books and I make conferences about the long expeditions I organize with my wife. We are both specialists of the travel by foot around the world. The name of these expeditions is : "Earth is waking" It's a mixt between journalism, sport and cultural relations.

I have been living in Avignon for six years and I know well this city. I'm a passionate local guide. My goal is to show you different aspects of Avignon : historical points of course but also small streets and hidden places. It's more than a visit because I want to describ you the current situation of the city with lot of anecdotes, social, economical, cultural observations. The City of the Popes is protected by UNESCO World Heritage. Its historical and architectural heritage is unique in Europe. Avignon is also a dynamic city in terms of culture (the Avignon Theater Festival), commerce and gastronomy.
