Hello! My name is Jax and I'm a professional tour guide who's lived in Munich since 2016.
Over the years, I worked as a freelance tour guide and in March 2021 I started my own tour company 'Heart of Munich Tours'. At the start of 2025 my wife joined the company as our tour manager.
Over the years we’ve received hundreds of five-star reviews across Tripadvisor, Google,, Viator, Guruwalk and other platforms. We are the highest rated tour company in Munich and our free tour is also the highest rated across multiple platforms.
My guiding style is interactive, passionate, clear spoken, inclusive, fun and at times theatrical. I always bring my tablet on tour to share old photos and pictures to bring history to life.

Prior to this I had never been on a guided/walking tour of a city, and had never planned to go on one. This tour was booked mostly based on my girlfriend's preferences. So it should be taken as extremely high praise that despite the awful weather on Monday, Jax's guided tour of Munich was one of my favourite parts of our entire trip. It was engaging, interesting, interactive and set us up amazingly for our time here with numerous amazing recommendations for what to do in the city. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
Jaxx was a fantastic guide and it was a very enjoyable tour. Even with the weather he had the tour organised to stay under cover where he could. He was full of information about the city and its history and was happy to answer questions. Overall very pleased we found the tour and would happily recommend it. Loved the added bonus of a list of recommended places to go to he gave us at the end.
Excellent guide who gave us an overview of the main sites in the Old Town, plus some recommendations for food.
