Originally from London, UK, but living in Heidelberg for the last 16 years. I have been working as a tour guide for 10 years giving tours around Heidelberg and the entire region. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing some of Heidelberg's history and helping you make the most of your time in "The Most Beautiful City in Germany".
I now give these tours in tandem with my colleague Victor. He is originally from Russia, but has been living, studying & working in Heidelberg for several years.
Booked this tour for the 17th April, 2pm. Went to the spot but the guide was no where to be found. Messaged both on Whatsapp and guruwalk's message page to the guide, no response. No advance intimidation was sent either. Truly unprofessional. I have taken many guruwalk tours before but this is the first time I've experienced this kind of no-show.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. We arrived 20 minutes early and waited 20 minutes past the meeting time. We wasted our whole and we are only visiting the city for one day. If the guide cancelled before we would not have minded but not showing up without communication is ridiculous.
The tour guide no-showed. Very unprofessional. Easily could have notified if they did not want to do the tour.
