Free walking tours in Financial District New York

Scott was passionate about NYC. The tour gave something more than a normal tour, it gave the history but with an entertaining twist. He seemed to effortlessly tailor the tour to our interests. We saw places you wouldn't get to see and do unless with Scott. He opened up places not experienced to others.

Excellent tour with Derrick today. He added detailed stories in some areas that made it more personal/realistic for us. Stayed longer to complete tour as our entire group could get free coffees/hot chocolate from a vendor that was generously serving everyone. Highly recommend this tour.

We attended two walking tours by CityShuffles during our long weekend in NYC and they were both amazing! Due to serious rain we ended up getting a private tour of lower Manhattan, covering early revolutionary history, Wall Street, NYC architecture, and the 9/11 Memorial among other things. I cannot imagine a more knowledgeable and entertaining guide than Jon. Highly recommend!

My cousin who is a local and I (from our of town) went on this tour 10/8 and absolutely loved it!! We had so much fun walking around and learning the history of the area and checking out the buildings. I especially loved the art deco ones! My cousin was saying even though she's a native she didn't know about the walking tours and learned so much! She is planning on doing more around the city and I am when I return. Scott was awesome! Very knowledgeable and patient as we arrived a little late cause we got lost. 5 stars across the board! We are so glad we went because I almost was going to take the day to stay in & relax. We made the right choice! There were several stops along the way I want to come back to & explore more on my own time.

Jon is the best you can get! I use guru walk all around the world and I had really good guides. He is in my top 3! The tour was so informative and detailed, very interesting. I could listen to him another 3 hours. Jon answered all of my numerous questions and there were many! Especially when you want to know real local tips, he will provide that and more. It was a mixture of history, movies, stories, insights, curiosities and lots of fun! Very clear and careful with us (my mother didn’t speak English), couldn’t ask for more! From our hearts, very recommended!
