I am Juan, an Argentine professional based in Paraguay for more than 12 years. I started as a tourist and so I discovered the passion to know different places in the history of the region, especially the "Camino del oro" and the age of the Spanish conquest. I offer my services as a local guide in the city of Asunción, as well as in other tourist places in the interior of the country. Get to know everything about the local culture and history, enjoying activities and perfect tours for the whole family. I offer to put together the tour to suit you. Traveling with my own transport and local guide, will allow you to know wonderful places with safety and tranquility.
The tour begins, with the search of the passengers, at their hotel, at 9:00 in the morning. Travel to the city of San Bernardino, visiting the cities of Areguá and Ypacarai. Tour of the historic center of the city, visiting the main sites of interest. Visit to Lake Ypacaraí. (Optional boat or catamaran tour) Tour of the urban area, visiting the museum houses of the first settlers and founders of the city. Hassler House, Butter House. Lunch. Visit the city of Altos and continue the trip to the city of Caacupé. Tour of the cathedral and the main tourist places of the urban area. Return to Asunción, to your hotel. Tour duration: 7 hours All expenses for fuel, transportation, tolls, parking, etc. are included. Meals or extra recreational activities are not included.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
