Tour was okay. We had to ask a lot of questions to get more clarity on some subjects. Potosi is so rich in history, so I'd recommend checking out some museums after for the full scope.

Great way to learn about Potosi history and food culture

It was one of the most unique walking tours we have done. Julio is really engaged and takes you to places, like the office of the president of the Potosí departament to show you the historical paintings, gets you talk to policemen and cute old ladies on the market who speak only Quechua. We felt invited to ask as many questions as we wanted and we learned a lot about the history of Potosí, the mine, the colonial architecture and the social situation of Bolivia at the moment. Julio was really entertaining, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He does not speak perfect English but makes a lot of effort for you to understand, and it’s really nice. We can highly recommend this tour.

Supo adaptar el tour cuando empezó a llover para que siguiéramos disfrutando, y conocimos mucho sobre su propia historia. Personal, informativo, divertido y especial. No lo olvidaremos! Sensationell! Julio war unser Guide. Mit seiner unterhaltsamen und humorvollen Art hat er uns in kürzester Zeit die wichtigsten Informationen über Potosí vermitteln können. Mit ihm in den Straßen der Stadt unterwegs zu sein, bedeutet, sich wie ein Einheimischer zu fühlen. Überall wird er gegrüßt und hat uns stets mit seinen Freunden bekannt gemacht. Das war ein fantastischer Walk! Sechs Sterne!

We loved our tour with Julio! It was very informative and he went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. He not only showed us the historic colonial-era sites of Potosi, but also gave us an insight into the best local spots- not withstanding a mid-tour visit to an incredible viewpoint from which we ate Potosi’s best saltenas whilst looking up at the Cerro Rico mountain and its silver mines. We also learnt a few Quechua words! We highly recommend this walking tour to anybody who wants to get a real feel for this incredible city and its people.

El guia es muy dedicado y se empeña mucho en dar un imagen completo de la historia y de la vida actual en la cuidad. También tiene un estilo comunicativo muy bueno: Hablo con la gente en la calle/en el mercado (p.e "cebritas", curaca de un pueblo en la region) para facilitar comunicación directa y entrar en temas mas profundamente (p.e. trafico en Bolivia, participación politica/administracion publica en los pueblos de la region). Yo recomendaría este tour a cualquier turista que viene a Potosí.

Excellent tour. Julio was very engaging and we visited many places that I otherwise wouldn’t have known about.

A fabulous social tour of Potosi with Julio, our energetic, enthusiastic guide. He was great fun and imparted a lot of cultural, historical and culinary information. We visited places we would not have done on our own, we met locals, learnt some Quechua and Aymara words, visited a school, inspected their artwork and posed for selfies with them. A thoroughly enjoyable tour, thank you Julio. Would recommend anyone to do this tour
