We've done many of these tours over the years and Paula is the best guide we've had. Interesting, entertaining, considerate, well paced and movingly honest about the recent history of Dubrovnik. The inside knowledge from the GoT set was an added bonus!

Paula’s extensive knowledge and personal history as a local provided us with a very powerful and emotionally resonant experience. Her sense of humor and vulnerability really contextualized the city’s rich, and often troubled, history. Also, as an extra on Game of Thrones, she brought an extra level of anecdotes to the tour beyond simply knowing the filming locations. I highly recommend Paula!

What an amazing tour. Paula mixed the history of the city with her own experiences of being part of the Game of Thrones filming as well as some really interesting stories from her own experiences during the conflicts. Antonia was a phenomenal guide. Her tour was jam packed with a tremendous amount of information that was clearly developed from her growing up in the area, her interest in providing her tour with both historical and Games of Thrones details, and her interest in giving tour attendees the best possible locations for listening while she delivered so much information. Her tour was beyond our expectations — off the charts — highly recommended!!🙂

My sister and I did the Best of Both Worlds tour (Old Town History and Game of Thrones) and it was the perfect mix. As a big GOT fan, I loved seeing the filming locations and getting a behind the scenes peak, but the history of the city was just as fascinating. Paula was knowledgeable, fun and enthusiastic and she kept the whole group engaged from start to finish. She had us laughing throughout! She also shared personal stories about growing up in Dubrovnik, which gave the tour a warmth and authenticity you can't get from a guidebook. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially to anyone who loves Game of Thrones but also wants to understand and appreciate the fascinating history of Dubrovnik. Paula was a truly a wonderful guide and made the experience memorable!

We had an excellent tour with our guide, Dona. She spoke quite fast, but there was a good reason for it – in just two hours she managed to share an impressive amount of historical information about Dubrovnik: how the city was founded, how it developed, and how it survived so many political and historical changes over the centuries. What we especially appreciated was that the tour focused on the real history of Dubrovnik. Before the tour, we were a little worried that it might be mainly about Game of Thrones, but Dona incorporated those stories very naturally at a few filming locations without letting them dominate the tour. It was also very moving to hear how the wars following the breakup of Yugoslavia affected such a beautiful city and its people. That part of the tour gave us a much deeper understanding of Dubrovnik and its recent history. Thank you, Dona, for a fascinating, informative and very well-guided tour. We truly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it!

Paula was an excellent guide! She gave us a true insight into the local culture and history. She also made sure we saw key GOT locations so for anyone wanting a mixture of history and GOT scenes this is the tour for you.

This is one of the best walking tours we have been on. Paula was so knowledgeable, funny and engaging. Her stories about working on GOT were very interesting. Our group consisted of people from all over the world and Paula interacted with everyone, she ensured everyone kept up with her and made sure everyone in the party were comfortable during our 2 1/2 hour walk. We never felt rushed and nothing was a problem. At the end of the tour Paula told her own experience of the war in Croatia which I found very moving. The whole tour was very interesting and informative made all the more real with Paula’s first hand experiences both of GOT and the war. This really is well worth the time and money and braving the heat and crowds for we can highly recommend 10/10

The tour with Paula was the highlight of my trip in Dubrovnik. She is engaging, extremely knowledgeable and did a really good job of blending Dubrovnik and Croatian history with GOT facts. She’s very friendly, shared excellent recommendations on what to do/see/eat in town and very kindly shared her personal experience of growing up in Dubrovnik in the 90s, which made the tour even more special. You can tell she loves her job and her town! Thank you so much!
