If you are a food lover and want to try the authentic street food of Mexico City, this tour is for you. We will take you to discover the art of the taco, a delicious dish with deep cultural significance in Mexico. Get ready for an unparalleled gastronomic experience!
What Does the Tour Include?
Visit to 3 Street Taco Stands: You will try different types of tacos with animal and plant protein options, cheeses, sauces, and garnishes.
History and Evolution of the Taco: Learn about the pre-Hispanic taco and its evolution over the centuries.
How to Eat a Taco: Discover the correct way to enjoy a taco and how to identify a good place to eat on the street.
Tour Details:
Duration: Approximately 2 hours. The itinerary may be adjusted according to weather or contingencies.
Meeting Point: Meet us at the Fountain of Cibeles, near the CDMX letters. Look for the GREEN shirts and umbrellas
Recommendations: Bring an umbrella, jacket, and closed shoes. Each taco costs around $20 MXN and water $25 MXN, so consider this when bringing cash.
Important:
When booking, provide a correct and active WhatsApp number. In case of events or protests, we will notify you about the alternate meeting point.
If you cannot attend, cancel your reservation 2 hours in advance out of respect for us. You can cancel through the confirmation email or the WhatsApp that sent you the location details.

I really enjoyed the tour, the food was all delicious and it was great to try a variety of different tacos. Sara was an excellent guide, she was super knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. I would definitely recommend this tour, the value for money is great and it was a great introduction to Mexican tacos and the street food of Mexico City!

We had a very nice afternoon learning a lot about the food and ingrediënts. It is such an amazing kitchen. Respect for all the cooks on the streets: demanding work in a very small place. Went home with full belly’s and a hug from Louis!

I was skeptical of this tour and it proved me wrong. It was my first food walking tour and this proved me wrong. Our guide Elizabeth was a joy and we appreciate the history of the food and the neighborhood and the tacos were our of this world. The tour was during dinner time, so timing was perfect. Highly recommend it.
