Andares was a total profession. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Would highly recommend. Not sure, but it might not be a bad idea to suggest that people might bring an umbrella, as there is very little shade on the tour, and we are not even into real summer.

My tour with Renato was an unexpected highlight of my time in Mexico City! After a late afternoon thunderstorm cleared the air and emptied the streets, I ended up with a private tour — and what luck that turned out to be. Mixcoac offers an impressive variety of food that we often miss when visiting CDMX (it’s important to go hungry!). It’s not just about tacos; from the legendary gorditas to fresh market seafood. We also learned about the daily life of locals and the history of a neighborhood with a strong identity. Thank you Ian!

Ian Kaare is a new tour guide and fabulous! He took us to 4 local taco stands and ended the tour at a market where we tried some fresh fruit. Pace yourself for all the eating you will do!
