Andy was very pleasant. and knowledgeable. His English was excellent and we were happy to have him come to our hotel to start the tour so we didn’t have to find a meeting place. His enthusiasm for his job made our time with him fun and interesting and the food places he chose gave us a delicious sampling of a variety of popular dishes.

Tina was a great guide! We had a one on one tour and she catered the food to dishes I hadn’t tried before (and I had just done a cooking class that morning, so I had a lot of the traditional dishes). Great to have a one one one talk and learn more about her and way of life in Hanoi.

Going on this tour was one of my favorite things to do in Hanoi. Everything went above my expectations, from the pick-up from my hostel to the guide herself, Minnie, who was so kind the entire time. She took us on a very complete tour, including desserts, according to our needs and desires. The food was delicious, the company was an absolute must-do in Hanoi

Hanoi’s food scene is amazing, and our guide Chris (who grew up in the city) was the perfect person to show us the ropes. We ate 6 delicious dishes at places we would never have found, and we explored parts of the old quarter that were difficult to navigate on our own. Chris was friendly, funny, and smart, and he was happy to answer any questions we had about Hanoi or Vietnam.

Had a great time being hosted by Luke, who was very knowledgeable about the different cuisines and restaurants in Hanoi. Luke customizes the tour each night based on the interests of the group and any food restrictions. He was also very flexible during the tour, and was more than willing to show us foods we inquired about on the spot, order more food at particular restaurants, or give us the history of certain foods or areas in Vietnam. I think the tour was only supposed to be 3 hours, but it ended up being a little over 4. Cannot recommend highly enough. This is a must-do when you visit Hanoi - just make sure you ask for Luke!
