The Essence of Istanbul: THE FIRST DAY TOUR IN ISTANBUL…!🏆🏆🏆
Tour description
WELCOME!
Welcome to the most recommended tour of Istanbul!
I am Nadir, an official tour guide in Istanbul. I studied at the University of Cappadocia and specialized as a tour guide in the Spanish language. I have spent several years in Spain and know almost the entire country except for the archipelagos. I am a very energetic person with an attentive, kind character and, above all, enthusiastic about my work, this city, and its history and culture, and I want to introduce you to…
The Essence of Istanbul Tour!
Istanbul is architecturally, one of the most interesting cities in the world. Its inhabitants live among walls built by Byzantine emperors and pray in mosques from the Ottoman era. Istanbul, a melting pot of cultures where Muslims, Christians, and Jews lived in harmony, with its seven hills surrounded by seas, has much to offer visitors. We will discover its soul, its Essence, the ancient Constantinople, and we will also meet its people, diverse and tolerant, kind and generous.
On this tour, you will also receive essential tips and recommendations to enjoy your stay in the best possible way: transportation, food, shopping, everything necessary to make your days in this unique city unforgettable.
What will we see during the tour?
EXTERIOR VISITS. We do not enter the places:
- Blue Mosque-Sultanahmet Mosque and Sultanahmet Square
- Turkish Bath-Hamam (Hurrem Sultan)
- Hagia Sophia
- The wooden houses (old Ottoman houses)
- Topkapi Palace
- Quran School-Madrasa
- Basilica Cistern
- German Fountain
- Hippodrome (Obelisk, Serpent)
- Constantine Square
- Turkish Bath Hamam
- Nurosmaniye Mosque
- Grand Bazaar and Beyazit Square and Mosque.
The guide reserves the right to make small modifications to the itinerary if deemed necessary due to the celebration of an exceptional event, the closing days of the visited places, or weather conditions. Mosques close on Friday mornings, the Grand Bazaar closes on Sundays, and Topkapi Palace closes on Tuesdays.
Tip: This tour is not affected because it is entirely outdoors and we do not enter the places on the itinerary, but in general for your stay, I recommend wearing appropriate clothing or bringing sarongs or scarves because to enter some religious places like mosques, appropriate clothing is required, which consists of covered knees for men and women, and additionally covered shoulders and head for women. In some places, scarves are provided.
Do not forget to wear suitable footwear for the uneven streets of the historic center and consider the city's geography, between waters, which causes abrupt changes in weather and temperatures.
ATTENTION CRUISERS🛳️🛳️🛳️ you are welcome! This tour starts promptly at 10:30 in Sultanahmet Square. The prudent time between the announced docking time of a cruise and the start of the tour should be a minimum of 2 hours. The disembarkation process in Istanbul and the distance between the port and the tour's starting point also require considerable time, as well as the use of public transportation, which newly arrived clients are usually unfamiliar with. Therefore, this tour is not suitable for clients with an expected arrival time of 8:30 or later. If your ship is scheduled to dock after that time, you do not have time to arrive. I ask for responsibility. DO NOT book if you are not sure you will arrive on time.
All this and much more!

IMPORTANT:
A minimum number of participants is required for the tour to take place.
Book only if you are going to come. This tour has limited spots. If for any reason you change your mind and cannot or do not want to attend, cancel the reservation through the confirmation email. If you cancel, you allow other people to participate and enjoy the tour. This is a professional tour. I ask for the same responsibility that I offer in my work.
MAXIMUM 6 PEOPLE PER RESERVATION OR GROUP: Reservations for groups larger than 6 people or fragmented reservations into several groups are not accepted. The reservation of several subgroups of more than 6 people will be canceled de facto, as there are daily limits to participate in the tour. For groups of more than 6 people, I recommend booking a private tour.
If groups larger than 6 people or fragmented reservations are detected at the meeting point, the guide reserves the right to charge €10 per person at the start of the tour.
The expected minimum amount per participant is €10 per person, as informed by the reservation page.
The pace of the tour is demanding. Istanbul is not a flat city, and the tour involves walking intensely for a little over 3 hours. It is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
I hope you enjoy this tour!
