After a long stage as a guide around the world, I am going to show you the closest thing to my land, the Urdaibai Nature Reserve. Specifically, the Villa Foral de Gernika-Lumo, which has witnessed the great history of Euskal Herria. I have recently created URDAIBAI EXPERIENCE, a Tourism Agency dedicated to showing all the charms of Urdaibai, where Gernika, Mundaka, Bermeo and San Juan de Gaztelugatxe are located, among other beautiful places. I will not only show you my Villa but I will make you part of its history and its feelings. Here I wait for you!!
Get ready to take your first Free Hiking Tour in the middle of a Natural Reserve of the Biosphere. We will make a simple walk, without slopes or great difficulties, through the Atlantic countryside of the upper part of the Urdaibai marshes.
We will stop between Baserris (Basque Country Houses), fields of local plantations and marshes through the marked paths on a path suitable for all pedestrians.
The tour will last a couple of hours and is the ideal way to complement a cultural visit to the Villa de Gernika.
You should be dressed in comfortable clothes to walk, remember that we are not going to the mountains but if you want to be comfortable, I advise you to come light and with suitable footwear (a few shirts will be enough)
