Tour description

Is this your first time visiting Genoa? You don't know the city and you don't know where to start?
Then the walk I propose is just for you and starts from the ancient port, to discover the caruggi and Genoese street food.
We will go to the heart of the old city getting lost in the labyrinth of alleys: between Renaissance buildings, medieval towers and baroque churches, I will tell you anecdotes and curiosities. You will find yourself in picturesque corners, hidden squares, you will discover what barchili and newsstands are, you will be amazed by the grandeur of the marble portals and the monumental entrances of the Genoese palaces.
You will be able to browse the windows of the numerous historic shops, stop and taste the best focaccia with an extraordinary hand-made pesto and stop at the legendary Buonafede creamery, an ancient dairy that offers an amazing espresso with Genoese panera, a delicacy not to be missed!
The tour will then continue through the monumental Strada Nuova with its marvelous sixteenth-century palaces, called "dei rolli", until it ends in the center but not before having reached the heights of esplanade Castelletto with a period lift, to enjoy a absolutely spectacular view of the city!
At the end of the tour you can count on me for advice and directions for excursions, visiting exhibitions and museums, finding markets, typical restaurants and focaccerie.
I wait for you !
