We’re a group of friends and authorized tour guides of Florence, although we’d prefer to introduce ourselves as storytellers! Explaining history as a TALE is part of our NAME, BRAND and SOUL. We’re in love with our hometown and we’d like to transmit it to you, through its many stories, funny anecdotes and curiosities, that will make you travel into the past and LIVE IT as if it was a tale, and you, the main character. Afterwards, you'll be able to decipher Florence's symbols and read its architecture and statues on your own, like you're wearing Renaissance glasses.
On this tour, we’ll take you to less known but no less fascinating places in Florence.
Here we’ll enter the Middle Ages, and we’ll understand why this period and this city were essential to the Renaissance revolution that would open the doors to the Modern Age. Walking through the medieval part of the city, among its narrow alleys and its towers, we’ll break some myths of this historical period; we’ll discover the intrigues and rivalries of rich families at that time; we will talk about the beliefs of the time, heresies and the role of the Inquisition; and we will decipher together the symbols that are displayed all over the city. We’ll also learn about its traditions and other interesting stories that will complete your experience in Florence.
The route follows a basic pattern, but each guide will give it their personal touch, showing travelers their secret corners to create a unique and unrepeatable experience.
