Luis is very knowledgeable about food history and passionate about supporting local family establishments. For me, his selection of restaurants were spot on as an introduction to tapas. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour 😊

Our guide was able to talk about all sorts of topics about both food and history. Took us to good places and all had reasonable prices. Great way to start our trip and was fun to meet other people.

Our guide showed us a few places we probably wouldn’t have walked into on our own, which was a nice way to discover some local spots. One useful takeaway was learning that it’s often better to choose places that specialize in just one or two dishes rather than offering a very large menu. My favorite part of the tour was meeting travelers from other countries and hearing about their trips and experiences. A practical tip: bring small change so it’s easier to split the bill with other tourists. That said, the tour description mentions learning about the origins of traditional dishes and wine pairings, so I expected a bit more background and storytelling during the stops. There was more focus on asking what kind of food we liked than sharing information about the food and the city.

The evening with Luis was unique and brilliant. It's not just him talking and us tasting ，everyone was made to feel involved and join in discussions about gastronomy and the whole ecosystem of food. This tour will run with just 1 participants, so perfect for solo traveller like me.

A great idea- a food tour adjustable to the group’s needs, a limited number of participants (up to 5) and a “pay what you order” basis. Luis was friendly and professional, his English speaking is excellent, he also provided some info on the city, and all the places we visited were interesting. We did like what we tasted.
