Madrid Food Tour

Luis is very knowledgeable and passionate about food. We had a wonderful time visiting different and historical restaurants and trying out, and learning about tapas.

Luis is truly a gastronomical expert. He shared so much information about the history of Spain’s food, as well as more generally about Spain. And he took me to tiny, special restaurants that I would never have found and recommended delicious foods and wines. I only wish I were bigger and could have eaten more! Altogether a really fun evening.

Fantastic good tour. Giuseppe took us to his favorites, all great places. Gave good information on Spanish food culture. Gave suggestions on foods to try. The thing that makes this a "must Go" tour was he helped us navigate or easy through the very crowded spots on a holiday Sunday. We could not have gotten the food on our own between the crowds and the language barrier.

Giuseppe was a great guide to explore the major food markets in Madrid with a focus on the neighborhood markets. He took us to many of his favorite stalls, and he gave options for the best bites so we could cater the tour to everyone’s likes. I’d recommend Giuseppe and his tour for foodies and/or people who want to learn more about Madrid’s cuisine. Muchas gracias!!

Giuseppe was a great guide. He speaks excellent English and he took us to a wide variety of places. Very enjoyable.

I was so disappointed that Guiseppe forgot to cancell the walk after I received a confirmed booking on the main site. Giuseppe was good enough to message me to explain. I do hope my next tour at 5pm today will take place.

We had such a great time exploring Madrid with Giuseppe! He showed us all the best hotspots at a really nice, relaxed pace. His stories were fun and interesting, and he spoke excellent English, which made everything even more enjoyable. Giuseppe is super friendly and easygoing – we felt like we were walking around the city with a local friend. Totally recommended!

Very knowledgeable and experienced in food science and history, knowing which restaurants best represent Spanish food. We have gone back to some of the places he recommended and were not disappointed.

We had a great time and were given the opportunity to try things I probably wouldn't have ordered on my own. Giuseppe passed along information about some history and plenty about food and drinks!

Good tour! The guide was nice, but the tour is not authentic. I would expect to the tour guide to know the business owners of the places he takes us.

Interessante giro per locali tipici alcuni in cui difficilmente sarei entrata da sola. Ottima idea per cominciare la vacanza a Madrid (io l’ho fatta troppo tardi per approfittare di tutti i consigli di Giuseppe!). Giuseppe bravo simpatico e disponibile.

Luis was a fantastic tour guide. He is deeply knowledgable about gastronomy and we learned a lot of very interesting information about Spanish cuisine and culinary traditions. He was also really flexible and accommodated our interests and preferences. I would highly recommend Luis to anyone visiting Madrid with an interest in food!
