Hi! My name is Cristian and I am from Cuenca, Spain. 3 years ago I started working as a guide in my land and some time later, together with a friend, I was the co-founder of a tourism company. I obtained the title of official tourist guide almost 2 years ago and, since then, my purpose is to disseminate the history, the legends, and the coolest and most interesting things of Cuenca to anyone who wants to know it. Today, I am The Juggler of History, so I tell the history of Cuenca in a rigorous, entertaining, and professional way. I'm delighted to be your guide in Cuenca and that together we not only get to know it but together we discover it: its history, its culture, its heritage, it's past and it's present. Let yourself be guided by the minstrel of history. We sure had a great time!

About the Tour

Cuenca was declared a World Heritage Site in December 1996.

Its orography, its unique and incredible architecture, its history, its gastronomic, cultural and landscape richness, make this land a dazzling place.

This tour is the ideal one to get to know Cuenca in full light , to discover it, showing its main points of interest as well as other places that probably go unnoticed by travelers.

We will know the history of the city, through its main monuments, medieval corners, anecdotes, which will delight visitors.

Cuenca A Plena Luz was born with the dual objective of, on the one hand, showing the city in order to get to know it in depth, and, on the other hand, giving the possibility to travelers who, for various reasons, cannot wait for night and want to do the day night tour.

Itinerary:

  • Arcos del Ayuntamiento (exit / meeting point)
  • Main Square
  • Round Street of Julian Romero
  • Florencio Cañas Viewpoint
  • St. Peter's Church (exterior)
  • Archive and old castle
  • Trabuco Street
  • Round of the Júcar
  • Camilo José Cela viewpoint
  • Severo Catalina Street
  • Main Square
  • Hanging Houses, San Pablo Bridge and former San Pablo Convent (end)

Additional information for travelers:
- Due to high demand from many travelers, we offer the "Night Spell" tour, our history tour at night, in broad daylight. We do it so that travelers who do not want to, or cannot do it at night, have the opportunity to do it during the day, being totally different from "Daytime Wonder".

- It perfectly complements the daytime tour, "Daytime Wonder", since up to 90% of the tour is different.

- It is exactly the same as the "Night Spell", so it is not advised to do it if you are going to book the night spell, or vice versa, it is not advised to do the night spell if you are going to hire this one.

- It is not very complementary to the "Cuenca de Leyenda" tour, since 80% of the tour is the same, although the contents are very different.

Meeting point: Open in Google Maps

How to find me: We will meet at the arches of the Town Hall, Town Hall building, Plaza Mayor 1. We will be dressed in a RED uniform and we will carry our corresponding accreditation.
