Hello everyone! My name is Pablo, I have been a Spanish guide in the city of Potsdam for many years. I was originally born in Granada and have been living in Germany for more than ten years. Trained in Art History and Anthropology, I am passionate about History, Art and Culture and I love to transmit my passion on my tours in a fun, entertaining and educational way. Get to know the most beautiful aspects of the city, all its monuments, neighborhoods, parks and charming places in a city that was listed as a World Heritage City by UNESCO . Potsdam was considered the second capital of Germany, the main residence of the German kings and emperors with more than 30 palaces inside.
With a duration of 2.5 hours on this free walking tour you will get to know the main aspects of Potsdam , from the oldest to the most contemporary.
We will start in the historical center and origin of Potsdam visiting the Old Market Square , Royal Palace , Film Museum , New Market Square .
Later we will go to the French Quarter, Dutch Quarter (passing Mozart's house) and the main street of the city ( Brandenburg Street ), ending at the beautiful Brandenburg Gate in Potsdam .
To finish we will visit the jewel of the Crown of German palaces: the Sanssouci Palace , residence of Frederick II the Great, as well as its garden.

I will be at the main gate of the Potsdam central train station (where the tram and bus stops are). They will give me identification because I always wear a hat, a gray bag and my guide identification.
