Unique Benidorm: discover the "New York" of the Mediterranean
Hello! My name is Meri and I have been a guide for four years in the province of Alicante. I adore traveling, getting to know new cultures, customs and all kinds of people. I live in love with Alicante and all its little corners, that's why I made the decision to be a guide; since I enjoy showing other people all the beautiful, curious and interesting things that we have around here (which are not few!) In addition to this, I love to paint, watch history documentaries and go with my dog on an excursion to the mountains every time that I can (with the latter is what I enjoy the most without a doubt!!)
Ready to fall in love with one of the most unique cities in Spain?
Loved and hated in equal measure, Benidorm has a lot to offer us beyond the party, the sun and the beach. On this tour you will learn the story of how a small fishing village has ended up becoming, in just 60 years, the New York of the Mediterranean, a city famous throughout Spain and in many places abroad. The tour will be full of curiosities that few people know about this city and that only a person born and raised here can tell you.
What will we see?
- Plaza de la Hispanidad (Triangular Plaza)
- City hall
- Walking path (Calle del Coño)
- First hotel in Benidorm
- basque area
- old Town
- The Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana
- The viewpoint of the castle
- Elche Park (Park of the pigeons)
- west ride
I wait for you walkers :)
