Be prepared to walk up hill, at a slow pace. Interesting historical facts told in a fun manner. If you're looking for a high level academic tour this is not for you. We found it fun and found out some interesting facts about Calpe. We went into the local museum which was interesting but no air conditioning so a little uncomfortable. Definitely recommend it. One and half hours is about right for the timing.

Maybe we had to high expectations: We thought a local guide would give us the tour. But our tour guide Nikolay only lived in Spain 3 years. He knew quite al lot to tel us about the facts
(you can learn easy) but not so much about the culture and meaning of certain customs of the Spanish culture. He did not seem to have a clue, for instance why they were decorating a certain statue "Virgin de las Nieves" in de church, because of a big procession that would take place the next day.
