Hidden Bars and Speakeasies in Paris

Duration: 2h and 30min
Languages: English, Russian
Guru: Inessa
Registered on January 13, 2023

My name is Inessa. Traveling is my passion, but after my first chance encounter with Paris three years ago I fell in love with this city and never left. I realised that I had been always looking for this: french charm, beauty and celebration of all the pleasures of life... especially the incredible gastronomy, wine and cheese!

Tour description

I love nothing more than spending my days walking all the pretty Parisian streets. Come evening though, there’s nothing lovelier than a fantastic cocktail (or a few) in the spectacular bars of the capital.

With me you will get to know Paris better by discovering its secret bars. Having worked in one of those, I fell in love with the format. Parisians and guests of the capital come here for the delicious drinks, intimate atmosphere and casual talks. Enter through a washing machine, a closet or a pizzeria and enjoy a bacon-flavored cocktail while listening to underground jazz... I can help you find hidden places, explain the concept of the bars, help you choose a drink, and tell where to look for other cool places in the city.

We will visit several hidden bars in the Republic Square area, we will walk between them, no metro needed :)

The tour is 2,5 hours
I require at least three people per tour, otherwise the tour will be cancelled.

The price of one cocktail is on average 15-20 euros. Food and cocktails are not included

Sehe did not confirm the tour. She did not even respond to the messages. What is the point of announcing the tour in guruwalk if you even won’t turn back to the messages? It’s kind of irresponsibility of the tour guide. Tüme is a valuable thing when you are travelling and some amount of time is lost because of the irresponsible behaviour of the guide. I wish I made another plan. Disapointment.

The event had an “unconfirmed” status. I messaged and the host didn’t reply. I arrived and the host didn’t arrive. When the tour actually happens, it’s probably amazing. If the host doesn’t arrive you can find hidden bars in the area on google maps (as I did). But a tour would be more fun.

If you want to experience something different and get access to these bars you need to take this tour. One bar has a secret code through a wardrobe and we would never have got on or could have imagined this venue. Anither was through a Laundry and one dryer was the door !! C’est La vie.
