Tour description

Bagamoyo is the oldest town in Tanzania and was the main port before Daresalaam. Also, the first mosque in East Africa was built in Bagamoyo. The oldest church on Tanzania's mainland was built in Bagamoyo. That makes it a very important historical town in East Africa.
Bagamoyo has very important places to see like:
•The holly ghost mission: here you can get to learn the history of Tanzania during pre-colonialism and during colonialism and slavery.
• Kaole ruins: you will get to see the old settlements of international trade between Tanzania, Arabs, and Chinese.
•Snake park: it’s a park where you will learn about all the indigenous snakes of Tanzania.
