The tour lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes

Description

1. Why take the route?

One of the reasons to take this route is because it has always been a very silenced theme in our history, which has been largely overlooked in our educational system. It can be a good opportunity to learn about what our previous generations, like our parents or grandparents, went through during a period where many fought for freedoms, but unfortunately, many were also lost, until reaching the democratic transition.
This route explains one of the most violent periods of our contemporary history. The itinerary aims to explain the events that occurred in the heart of Barcelona during the Spanish Civil War.

2. THE STOPS:

  • Barcelona Portal del Angel, Telefónica building. Start
  • Bombing on Calle de la Canuda.
  • Santa Maria Del Pi Church
  • San Felip Neri Square.
  • San Jaume Square.
  • Avinyò Street.
  • Palace of the Virreina. (A 5-minute break is taken in case anyone needs to use the restroom).
  • Hotel Rivoli Las Ramblas.
  • Plaza Catalunya
  • Coliseum Theater Tribute to bombing victims

3. I want and intend for you to see the city of Barcelona and this part of history with different eyes on this tour. A story told in a close, agile manner, discovering the historical anecdotes of that period without an excessive accumulation of data in your head. Because yes, you come to discover and learn but above all to have fun.
