Description
This Art and Architecture tour will look at some of the most famous New York skyscrapers as well as the iconic Grand. Central Terminal. We will also look at modern art along the way and a few off the beaten path stops
Major stops on our tour : Seagrams Building, KAWS sculpture, Grand Central Station, the Chrysler building lobby, Superman’s Daily Planet headquarters and a few surprises.
We will have a lot of fun learning about the history of New York City as well as contemporary art history analyzing the art on display in its public buildings as it shapes the city and reflects its people.
When open, we will visit the ford foundation building inside. Reservations are required the day before by 5pm. Go to ford foundation.org to reserve your ticket. There will be an alternate visit option.
