Discover Lisbon on a relaxed walking tour through the historic center – in German and with many exciting stories about the city.
We meet at Rossio, one of Lisbon's most famous squares. From there, we start our tour and learn more about Rossio and the history of the city.
Our route takes us to the National Theatre Dona Maria II, the impressive Rossio train station, and the Monumento dos Restauradores, which commemorates Portuguese independence.
Afterwards, we visit the Igreja de São Domingos and enjoy the view of historic Lisbon and the Castelo de São Jorge along the way.
We continue along the famous Rua Augusta towards Praça do Comércio, the imposing square right by the Tagus River. Here, I will tell you more about the history of Lisbon and the significance of this impressive place.
On the way, we will see Lisbon's City Hall, another historic church, and of course the famous Elevador de Santa Justa.
