The tour was very good. We walked through few neighbourhoods. The guide Joanna was both informative and amusing, and stayed with us more time then the plan. Highly recommend!!!
Fue un tour muy ameno e interesante con Inés, recomiendo ampliamente. Ella es una chica amable y agradable con mucha información, el recorrido fue perfecto y mejor de lo que esperaba!
Ines was very nice and energetic. She made the tour really enjoyable, it did not even feel like three hours. She also invited us to a delicious pastel de nata, one of the best we have tried in the city. She interacted with us and even prepared some quizzes, which was a great way to retain the information she shared during the tour. This tour was a 10 out of 10, we definitely recommend it.
A interesting and informative tour by Lia with a good route.
She was quite knowledgeable, down to earth and had a great sense of humour. In my view, a tour guide makes the tour either a positive or negative experience. Thankfully, Ines made it a positive experience!!!
Nice tour with 6 people en enthousiastic tourlyder António
António was the best tour guide I have been fortunate to book with on guruwalk. He was punctual and kept me updated with his location so he was easy to find at the start of the tour. António is the tour guide to take when you first arrive to Lisbon so you get all his tips and recommendations for visiting the local area and other areas in Portugal!!!! He was friendly and made the tour very interesting so do not hesitate booking with António! My only regret was I booked it at the end of my trip and wish I had booked the first day of my arrival to Lisbon! Thank you António for a fabulous tour!
Our guide Joana was fantastic thank you for a wonderful introduction to the city!
We took a tour with andrea and she was wonderful. Full of knowledge, very patient with all our questions. You can see she loves lisbon and that was passed to us. I fully recommend this tour
Fraga was an amazing tour guide! So expressive, kind and welcoming. My sister and I had a wonderful time learning about beautiful Lisbon. The recommendations he provided after the tour were very appreciated. Thank you!!
Rita conducted the tour perfectly, with accurate and well curated information. Her style was very good, with humour complementary to the tour. The places we visited were great too, with the added bonus of free tasting. Highly recommended to do this tour in Lisbon!
No regrets, found it on my ride into the city from the airport and it was great way to get acclimated to the city and learned so much!
Great time. Interesting history. Animated tour guide. Highly recommended.
We always go on a Walking tour of a new city as it is the best way to getting under the skin of a new place, its history, its culture and its people. They never disappoint and Joao was entertaining and bought the city alive.
We had a very nice Tour and learned a lot about Lisbon. Antonio knows a lot about the City and I would really recomend everyone to do this Tour! Also it’s normally pretty small and more personal
I like the way she explained and entertained whole group in the tour, never felt boring
The tour with Rita was amazing as she shared so many interesting insights and kept the energy high the entire time. A lovely bonus was the free tasting of "Pastel de Nata" at a local bakery, which made the experience even more authentic. I’d 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon!
Good tour overall so far and I appreciate the guiding, though I do wish we had seen more places along the way, and there could have been a little less information and talking. That said, there were a few things that really stood out and should be addressed. Some of the humor about appearance, implying that people who are brown, shorter, or not white with light eyes are less attractive, did not land well, especially with a diverse group present. Even if meant jokingly, it can make people uncomfortable. The tour also felt very Eurocentric. Many “firsts” cited were actually the first in Europe, not the world, and the narrative left out major parts of history. Portugal’s role in colonization, the slave trade, and the genocide of Indigenous peoples in Brazil wasn’t mentioned at all, which was surprising in a 3.5-hour tour. A more balanced, historically accurate perspective would make this tour much stronger and more inclusive for everyone.
Terrific overview of Portuguese history and Lisbon culture and vibe, brought alive in style and with wit by Ines whose erudition w was as entertaining as it was insightful
Fraga was fantastic! He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Really personable and approachable. Can’t recommend this tour enough!
Lovely walk. Great guy, accommodating to all. Superb tips too for after the walk.
Very well organised tour! Joana was a great guide well informed organised entertaining and friendly!
Joana was delightful and amazingly informative. She infused a Lisbon native's love of her city into a collection of stories and facts that made them both captivating and fun. We saw four sections of the city and spent the right amount of time in each. There also were a couple of delicacies along the way that we enjoyed tremendously. Take this tour and ask for Joana by name.
Engaging and entertaining your with Rita. Great quality of information regarding the city itself and history of Portugal provided. We had a good time!
I liked very much the tour, Bruno was so eloquent that it made me feel like I was watching a documentary in real life. Cool facts and the way of telling was awesome. I recommend it deeply.
