Matteo was upbeat and professional and kept us informed without loading us up with too many dates and facts. It was hot but the route Matteo took kept us out of the sun as much as possible and we explored areas of the city we would have missed. His English was great. He told us a little about himself, had a laugh about a few things and seemed to genuinely enjoy sharing stories and pointing out interesting places in beautiful Citta Alto. It was good to do the tour on our first morning to get our bearings and benefit from Matteos tips and suggestions.

It was a great introduction to Bergamo. Matteo was informative and entertaining. We were left with lots of suggestions to fill the rest of the day. And top tips for coffee, gelato and pizza! Highly recommend.

It was great and well run. The only issue was finding the meeting point and being sure as Matteo was right on time for the start not 15min early like asked. We found another yellow hat an American guy who obviously wasn’t right🙃. But once we started it was great and his tips for food and coffee are excellent

Matteo was a great guide with lots of interesting information and facts about Bergamo - his relaxed and entertaining style mean we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Restaurant recommendation from him for lunch meant that we ate like kings at a very reasonable price - thank you Matteo 😃

Matteo explained that he wasn't going to bombard us with too many dates and people which was refreshing. He told the stories of Bergamo in a fun and memorable way. He is passionate about his home town which led to such an enthusiastic storytelling style. First rate.

He is simple guide not bothering about years and history dates. Information from this guy are useful and simple. He took care that we are ofetn in shadow because it was too hot day during summer. I recommended Matteo. Greetings to Matteo from Croatia's couple! :)
