Bergamo Food Tour

Mateo is a lovely friendly guy and imparts the information in an entertaining and professional manner. We had visited the town on Tuesday but Mateo was able to show us more places of interest and give us lots of information on the sites we had already visited. Highly recommended.

Matteo is a very friendly guide who shares his stories about the city where he was born and raised in a relaxed manner, full of jokes and anecdotes. Hearing his opinions and tips about Italian cuisine is especially interesting!

Really fun, informative and pleasant tour and it was a great introduction to Citta Alta - makes one want to visit again, and eat at the recommended gelateria, and pizzeria. Matteo a perfect guide, having grown up in the area.

Tour was very good. Food reccomedations turned out to be first class.

Great guide who was a local (born there which was really nice and authentic) full of stories and information and thoughtful about us in the heat. After only one and a half hours I felt we’d done the little city well.

Really fun tour

Matteo was so great that, even though we had a really large group, no one decided to peel off before the end of the tour. Matteo gave us a great overview of Bergamo while we walked and excellent advice about what to do on our own after the tour ended. We tried several of his recommendations, and we're so glad we did! He really knows the city!

Ich fand die Tour mit Matteo super. Ich hatte nur einen Tag in Bergamo, und habe jetzt das Gefühl alles wichtige gesehen zu haben. Er hat auch viele Tipps zur weiteren Entdeckung der Stadt gegeben, was super hilfreich war. Nur seine Liebe zu salzigem Pistazieneis kann ich leider nicht teilen.

Matteo is entertaining funny and knows his city. The pace was perfect. Places to sit or stand were in the shade and timed well between walking cobbled streets and green park paths uphill and down. Matteo knows history and food and recommended a great place for lunch and gelato plus a wealth of info was provided after the walk so we could continue exploring.

We had great times with Matteo as a tour guide. He was explaining everything in an amazing way. I definitely recommend Matteo for your tour guide.
