Marco mi ha attesa giù in strada e mi ha spiegato la storia di Bergamo fino alla rigenerazione urbana di inizio secolo scorso. Mi ha mostrato e spiegato la Meridiana e mi ha accolto nella sua casa partendo dal piano terra con la presentazione di alcuni reperti. Abbiamo seguito il tour nella sua casa al quarto e quinto piano. E' una persona molto empatica, mi ha raccontato della sua famiglia e della storia di Bergamo e dell'Italia. La casa è ricca di arredi dell'epoca. Lo consiglio vivamente come inizio del tour di Bergamo anche perché Marco mi ha dato suggerimenti su cosa visitare e cosa degustare.

This is a very special tour. Marco showed me the outside and inside of his tower home where his family have lived for 500 years. His knowledge about the house, the places nearby and the objects in his family's possessions for centuries is extensive and very interesting. In fact, it was an honour to be shown his home. Where was everyone else? They should have been here. It was an unforgettable tour. Thank you Marco.

Même s’il s’en défend bien, Marco habite dans un musée aux collections hétéroclites patiemment amassées par sa famille au cours des 500 dernières années. La tour médiévale dans laquelle il habite vaut le détour. Recommandé.

We had a wonderful experience visiting Marco’s tower in Bergamo. Marco gave us a fantastic tour, explaining everything clearly and with great passion. He was extremely kind, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. The visit was well organized and truly enjoyable, which made the experience even better for us. Marco es una persona increíble, culta, entretenida, generosa. Le entendimos perfectamente pese a que estamos aprendiendo italiano.
