Free walking tours in Doha

We had a great tour with Hussain. Not only did he show us the sites but he introduced us to several elements of Arabic culture (our favorite was the chess like game) and he was a generous host. Go on this tour, you'll enjoy it!

Hussain was an absolutely awesome and wonderful tour guide! Before this tour, I honestly never realized how diverse and rich Qatar’s culture was. I used to assume it was pretty similar to other Arab countries, but after Hussain explained everything in such detail, I gained a whole new appreciation and understanding of Qatar’s history, traditions, and culture. Now I totally understand why he’s called the “Souq Guru”! His passion, knowledge, and the way he explains everything make the whole experience so interesting and enjoyable. You can really tell that he loves what he does and genuinely wants people to understand and appreciate the culture. Thank you, brother, for such a wonderful experience! Definitely one of the highlights of my visit to Doha. Keep doing what you do best! 👏🇶🇦

I didn't expect a lot from this tour as it covered a relatively small area, but wow was I wrong. This was genuinely informative, gave an insight to Qatari life, and gave us multiple interactions with locals that never felt touristic. Absolutely worth doing to appreciate Doha and Qatar past the instagramable moments

We’ve taken a lot of GURU tours around the world but this was the best one! I can tell you we felt like we were part of the town! We’d been walking this area for two days yet Hussain opened the doors for us to the community, the local knowledge, the history and so much more. And he made it fun! If you go to Qatar take Hussain’s Guru Walk!!

A great evening touring Souq Waqif. Our guide was so friendly, open-minded, understanding, and accommodating. He showed us all the highlights but also some of the local spots. It was so great to learn about the people, the culture and history. He welcomed questions and discussion. He went the extra mile to show hospitality. The people in general were so kind and respectful. We will definitely be back to Doha for a longer holiday.
