Thomas is an amazing storyteller and a very passionate and dedicated guide. The tour was full of interesting anecdotes lots of history and starbursts and hot tea :) one of the best tours ive taken 5 stars all the way

Thomas was the best guide we could have hoped for! He was so knowledgeable but entertaining at the same time. The 2 hours and a half flew by! Also, he brought tea in a flask with him so that everyone could keep warm in a cold day! Thank you so much, we've loved Philly ❤️

Thomas was incredibly knowledgable and engaging! I especially appreciated that he told some of the experiences and contributions of women, enslaved persons, and immigrants in the nation's history that are often overlooked or ignored. He was also overly considerate in that he brought hot cider and cocoa to warm up with about halfway through the tour. I can't say enough wonderful things about this tour with this guide!

Diamond was a great tour guide! She was in time and gave clear expectations for the time we would spend on the walking tour. Had great insight, but also gave time in between stops for us to be able to take in the views and enjoy the walk. She was a very calming presence in a very busy city. I’d recommend her tour for anyone visiting!

As a Philly native, I wanted to take on a new view of the city and Diamond helped me do just that. I loved how she pointed out the details of architecture and how he kept me entertained. I learned so much and she recommended great restaurants and other tours to take. I will definitely be recommending her!

Throughly enjoyed! The guru was very charismatic and very knowledgeable in Center city history. It was easy to follow along, ask questions and take pictures as desired. I can say that I truly learned a lot and that it was nice to walk the city and learn of places to eat and and to visit after the tour in the area. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Daimond was a top notch tour guide and her excitement about the city’s great history was sustained throughout the tour! In the past I’ve had guides that over explain or don’t seem excited about the tour but Daimond’s ability to teach AND answer questions was amazing. Tom is informative & entertaining. This is definitely a must do if you’re in Philly. We enjoyed getting a quick snapshot of Philly and American history in 2 hours. In this tour you will see the “must-see” sites and get in depth knowledge on each one. Tom is super friendly and makes the tour that much more fun.

Tom was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! On top of taking us to the main historic sites in old Philadelphia, he was so entertaining and taught me and my daughters so many interesting facts that you wouldn’t find in the guide books or on the many historic plaques around the city. He also brought hot chocolate which we enjoyed on a very chilly spring afternoon. If you’re interested in the history of the city and love an engaging and educational walk, look no further than Tom!

Thomas was an amazing guide. Took us to all the notable sites. He is a history teacher so he had a wealth of information and was able to answer any and all questions and was also funny and entertaining with good personality and conversation. Definitely will recommend. A nice surprise was providing hot chocolate and starbursts. 10/10
