We have a very important sentence for us here by Rumi the poet :
“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come.”

Fantastic tour by Yunus - not boring at all, thoroughly engaging. Would highly recommend!
Kubra was informative and I would not have enjoyed walking around this area or know where to go if she wasn't around to put some context and background to what I was seeing. This neighborhood is wonderful diversification from old town sightseeing. There were a few steep climbs but doable (walk slowly) for everyone. Terribly hot time of the day to start though, but we were fortunate and the weather cooled down.
This is an interesting tour of a unique residential neighbourhood. Worth it!
Yunus is a great story teller. Not only is he knowledgeable about history, but he tells it in a very compelling way. He also paced the tour well, especially considering us all climbing hills in the hot sun. This is a great tour to find a new place to learn about Istanbul's long and diverse history. I highly recommend this tour with Yunus!
Kubra is an amazing guide. She speaks English fluently, is well prepared, kind and also extremely passionate. The tour has been great!
