Having been a globe trotter for years myself, I respect and enjoy other cultures as much as I do my own. Today, i'd love to show you around my home town, The Hague! (or it's much beloved neighbors Delft&Leiden) I will do it with lots of positive energy and a big smile on my face.
There is something special about the liveliness of The Hague, especially contrasted with its beautiful beaches and parks. Even though I know so much about this town, I always find some new and interesting facts and iconic landmarks that keep me engaged and learning more.
And Delft? With soo many interesting sights, so much history that connects to the city of Delft and the Netherlands as a whole, topping it off with a rich choice of restaurants, coffee places and lovely little boutiques...It's a magnet to me and it will probably have the same effect on you!
I focus my tours to be all about enjoying The Hague and discovering what life is like in The Netherlands, but I am very knowledgeable about it's history too and love to share or take questions.
I look forward to meeting you soon with ElswhereTours and sharing with you what makes The Hague, Delft and Leiden so special to me!
The tour was great. I did not have much time in The Hague so it was nice to have someone take me round. Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and ended up a private tour for one as it was not busy was great
Els is really amazing. We always do a free walking tour in a new place for us, and I can confidently say that a tour with Els was truly interesting and fun.
I love guided tours because you get to see little details about the town that you may have otherwise missed. And also to ask questions, because I have many! Alison was quite knowledgeable and a great guide. I enjoyed the experience very much. The story of the de Witt brothers I think may stay with me for a long time.
It was a great tour, Els was amazing and she managed to engage us from beginning to finish. I really enjoyed it
