With a mixture of humor and story-telling, I simplify a complex history of Serbia and Yugoslavia to my guests. I hold a BA degree in political science from the University of Belgrade (Serbia) and a MA in international relations from the University of Vienna (Austria).
Fluent in English, German and Serbian.
a very good guide very knowledgeable.
The tour was extremely interesting. Aleksandar is able to deliver all his passion and knowledge to the audience. He is extremely kind and profesional. We learnt a lot about Serbia and Belgrade itself. If you’re also willing to learn the history of this country with a special focus on geopolitics he’s the perfect guy!
The walking tour on communist history of Belgrade, Serbia and Yugoslavia was informative in some parts. We learned about the concentration camp and the Eternal Flame monument, which were particularly interesting stops. However, we would have preferred that Aleksandar included more detailed historical facts and deeper explanations about the communist era. At times, the information felt somewhat oversimplified and reflected personal opinions, which can be misleading for visitors who do not already have a strong understanding of the historical context.

I got what I came to Serbia for—to hear about the fall of Yugoslavia from a different point of view. Aleksander was excellent! I appreciated that he tried to be neutral and matter of fact in the information he shared. I was enthralled. If you’ve been to other countries that make up the former Yugoslavia, take his tour and draw your own conclusions—you will not regret it!
