Emrah - Tour Guide in İstanbul

Emrah was exceedingly professional, knowledgeable, kind, and attentive to our needs. He provided a fascinating history of Istanbul and its surrounding historical monuments. He even brought us into a cafe to warm up (it was 2 degrees) and served us tea and water. Truly memorable experience, one of the best GuruWalk guides available!

This tour took place in exceptionally cold and sometimes rain weather, yet Emrah checked in we were all ok, provided shelter whilst he could and half way through took us for a warm in a cafe with a complimentary cup of tea whilst he talked more about the area. The tour itself was very interesting and we learned a lot about the main area, Emrahs English is very good and he made sure he also answered lots of questions that the group had. Highly recommend Emrah and this tour as a could introduction to the Blue mosque and hippodrome area of Istanbul

He was a true professional. It was a very rainy and cold day, and even so, he showed us the most beautiful and interesting spots in the area. We will definitely be back! 10/10

Emrah is a amazingly knowledgeable and a pro guide. He brings a local warmth and interacts with you like a friend. I did the tour in January, he was super flexible, he took us in the local tea shop, and told us stories over Turkish tea in a warm environment. He is a must when you visit Istanbul. I will reach out to him again !

Emrah is very knowledgeable. We had a nice long walk around the old city and he explained many things I didn’t know. He planned well for stops in between (coffee, toilet break). He recommended few local restaurants and typical food. Very happy with my experience 🙂
