Hello there! My name is Aly. I am an Egyptian citizen. I have had my college degree in Egyptology and tour guidance. I became an officially authorized Egyptologist and English speaking tour guide. I have been in the field for more than two decades. It is, to me, more than bread-winning job. I have never imagined myself doing any other occupation. I do love meeting people, introducing them to the greatness of the ancient Egyptian civilization, alongside showing them the nowadays Egypt, mutually exchanging and sharing knowledge, and having a good time together!
Aly is very warm hearted and has a lot of historical knowledge, he has a great sense of humor and he made the tour very pleasant! Also, he knows the best angles to take pictures of everything 🤣 thanks for the great tour Aly!
This tour was amazing. Aly really brought alive the Egyptian museum. The museum has so much history, but I don't think I would have appreciated it without having Aly as a guide. He is enthusiastic, funny and passionate about Egypt. The two hours went by so fast and we learned so much.
Guide said she messaged me to change date/time but I never got the message.
The best guide in Cairo!! The artefacts were brought to life through the storytelling abilities of Aly. He was amusing, articulate and very knowledgeable. I wish we had used him for other trips!!
Trying to describe it, but honestly, words fail me. We had a really amazing experience. Our guide, Aly Elsheemy, was simply amazing! He is an Egyptologist and he knew a lot of background information about the history.
