Ciao! Mi chiamo Aly. Sono un cittadino egiziano. Ho conseguito la laurea in Egittologia e guida turistica. Sono diventato un egittologo ufficialmente autorizzato e una guida turistica di lingua inglese. Sono nel campo da più di due decenni. Per me è più che un lavoro che mi fa guadagnare il pane. Non ho mai immaginato di fare un'altra occupazione. Adoro incontrare persone, farle conoscere la grandezza dell'antica civiltà egiziana, oltre a mostrare loro l'Egitto di oggi, scambiare e condividere reciprocamente conoscenze e divertirci insieme!
A wonderful, informative and well planned tour of the musuem with Ally!
The tour was great but the organisation was a bit odd. I signed up for the tour and the guide contacted me that I was the only person to sign up for the tour. He asked if I could move it but this was the only available time I had. He then asked me to book the same free tour on another site to guarantee the tour would take place. Fine. I was waiting at the agreed meeting place and he messaged me to come to the museum. A little odd but ok. The tour itself was awesome! A lot of humour and interesting stories. We hit all of the museum highlights in just over an hour. I was put on the spot to leave a trip advisor review 3 different times during the tour. I said that I would leave a review after the tour. From the tour description there were supposed to be a few sites outside of the museum but he said the tour was only the museum. Don’t get me wrong, the tour inside of the museum was great but I didn’t care for getting pressured to multiple times to leave a review on the spot. I would still recommend the tour.
Aly provided good information and I would really recommend going with him to visit the museum. He even had tickets prepared beforehand. The tour was 2h and not 2.5h, which was fine. The major turn off was when he stopped the tour halfway to get us to write a review for him. We firmly told him no. At the end of the tour, he tried again to get us to write a review together with him. He also texted after the tour to write a review.

Very good storyteller Mr. Aly! He has made this trip amazing and full of laughters and knowledge! This is a must tour in Egypt and definitely book Aly as he makes everything full of excitement!
