Gamarjoba (greetings), my friends, my name is Giorgi and I am from Georgia and have lived all my life in Tbilisi. I am a tour guide who enjoys, sharing the rich history of my beautiful city and country, by walking its streets and interacting with its people.

Fantastic Walking Tour of Historical Tbilisi with Gio! Taking this walking tour was one of the best decisions we made during our time in Tbilisi. We spent about 3 hours exploring the city’s beautiful historical streets and every minute was packed with fascinating stories, cultural insights and lots of fun. Our guide, Giorgi (which he told us was a super common name in Georgia), was absolutely fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about Georgia’s rich history and traditions. He didn’t just walk us through the landmarks; he brought the city to life with tales of its past and present. The tour felt relaxed but informative and it was the perfect introduction to Tbilisi (a place of warmth - not only the warm springs but definitely warm people). Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city - don’t miss it!

I really enjoyed Gio’s tour, especially his stories and sense of humor. He is obviously very passionate about Georgia and its history. The tour was 3 hours, and we saw so much of Tbilisi. Would highly recommend!
One of the best GuruWalk tours ever! Gio (the Eagle!) was smart, clear, honest and fun. As a native Tbilisi man he gave personal stories and insights, telling us the history, but adding color and texture and local knowledge. Even though it was raining on and off he had a sense of energy and warmth that kept us going. He shared about local life and traditions and gave great recommendations. Thank you Eagle!!
