We are three licensed tour guides with a background in history and archaeology. We were born in Istanbul, raised in Istanbul, and educated in tourist guiding in Istanbul. Our passion is to guide you through the captivating journey of Turkish culture and cuisine. We will provide you with opportunities to enjoy the magnificence of experiencing the depths of Istanbul, which is the threshold of three main civilizations: Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman.
It was okay. I felt like he was a bit pushy on some of his views, which made it quite awkward at times with the group. We did visit some nice places that made it worthwhile. He also made comments on removing reviews he didn’t like, so hopefully this stays.
Halil war ein ausgesprochen gut informativer, unterhaltsamer, lebhafter Guide und ein Experte in den Archiven des osmanischen Reiches. Bei den verschiedenen Stationen auf der Tour Exkurse in seine Fachrichtung machen zu können, war sehr spannend. Jederzeit wieder! Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
Great tour with Mustafa. He's knowledgeable, funny, and easy to talk to, and he showed me a side of the city you wouldn't find on your own. We went through the hidden parts of the Grand Bazaar, the book bazaar, and ended at Süleymaniye for sunset with rooftop tea over the Golden Horn. He answered all my questions and gave me good recommendations for places to eat. Felt safe and relaxed throughout. Would definitely recommend.
Couldn’t recommend Halil and his tour more highly. It was a highlight of our trip and will recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul. He goes above and beyond to take you to the most interesting places, his knowledge is brilliant, he answered all of our questions amd helped us to understand the rich history of the city. Definitely book!
