Alfred was an amazing guide! I did a day trip to Cape Coast from Accra and Alfred personally met me at the bus stop, and brought be around Cape Coast and Elmina. While I followed the official tours at Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle, Alfred had a lot to share about his town and Ghana in general. We had some nice conversations about travelling across West Africa over dinner. It was a wonderful day, and I'd highly recommend anyone visiting Cape Coast to have Alfred show you around.
Un gran muchacho y super colaborador
Kojo Alfred was a good guide that made us feel comfortable in Cape Coast. To start, he was very communicative and responsive weeks before we even went to Cape Coast. I was able to tell him exactly what we were looking to do and he was more than willing to accommodate. There were some typical cape coast activities that we were looking on g to take part in, and he was very understanding about it this. We made a number of suggestions about festivals we could attend also. Unfortunately our schedule didn’t allow us to take part. It nice having that line of communication open prior to the trip because it give a sense of certainty that we won’t be left stranded on the day of the tour. He was also understanding and accommodating towards the physical capabilities of the different tour members. He was able to bring us to good restaurants. He integrated into the group and felt like a friend. The only downside is that he doesn’t have a car, but other than that, he is a very good guide.
