Marhaba! (Welcome) We are Carlota and Ali, a multicultural couple living in the enchanting city of Chefchaouen. Ali, born and raised in Chaouen, has been passionately working in tourism for many years. As a dedicated tour guide, he offers comprehensive city tours, hiking adventures, and explorations of the surrounding national parks. I’m Carlota, originally from Seville, and I fell in love with Chefchaouen during my first visit and decided to stay 💙.
Imad and Mou, both local guides born in Chefchaouen, are experts in the area’s rich culture and traditions. Together, we’re here to share the magic of this unique place with you!
Mou is an incredible guide, very kind, polite and highly qualified. Getting to know a place through the eyes of a local is one of the best experiences one can have, especially with someone who grew up in Chefchaouen. He is extremely well qualified, with three degrees, and has witnessed and lived through the city’s transformations. It was a pleasure to take this tour with Mou, and I would happily do it many more times. The only problem was two American tourists who joined the tour. They were very rude and ill-mannered, shouting and interrupting the guide all the time, a typical attitude of American tourists who think they are the centre of the world. Even so, Mou remained very polite and handled the situation with great kindness.

Mou was very professional as well as personable in leading the tour. He showed us all the main attractions while sharing stories of his grandmother and also bought some sweets for us. He shared both history of Morocco and Chefchaouen as well as culture and food. He used iPad to show us pictures of all the things he talked about especially historical photos which helped us to understand how the town was transformed. We came away very satisfied.
