Io sono Carlota, originaria di Siviglia, e mi sono innamorata di Chefchaouen durante la mia prima visita e ho deciso di restarci 💙. Mou is an incredible guide, very kind, polite and highly qualified. Getting to know a place through the eyes of a local is one of the best experiences one can have, especially with someone who grew up in Chefchaouen. He is extremely well qualified, with three degrees, and has witnessed and lived through the city’s transformations. It was a pleasure to take this tour with Mou, and I would happily do it many more times. The only problem was two American tourists who joined the tour. They were very rude and ill-mannered, shouting and interrupting the guide all the time, a typical attitude of American tourists who think they are the centre of the world. Even so, Mou remained very polite and handled the situation with great kindness.
The tour basically covered nothing. You won’t see anything aside from “famous” Instagram photo spots. Mou did not know details, facts or specifics and was not able to answer any of our questions. The guru also made multiple antisemitic comments. If you want to see the photo op places this is the tour for you. If you want to learn more about this Moroccan city, this is not the tour for you. This tour also went over 2 hours due to the guide repeating the same things to us over and over again.
A pesar de que era un día horrible de lluvia el tour fue de lo más ameno e interesante. Siempre pendiente de buscar zonas donde no nos mojáramos. Recomendadisimo para conocer bien chefchauen
Mou was very professional as well as personable in leading the tour. He showed us all the main attractions while sharing stories of his grandmother and also bought some sweets for us. He shared both history of Morocco and Chefchaouen as well as culture and food. He used iPad to show us pictures of all the things he talked about especially historical photos which helped us to understand how the town was transformed. We came away very satisfied.
Mou ha sido un encanto. Nos ha llevado por los mejores sitios, nacio alli y nos ha contado muchisimas cosas que seguramente otras personas no sepan y para quien le guste saber historia te cuenta todo lo que paso alli . Nos ha recomendado tambien muchos sitios aunque no nos ha dado tiempo a ir por lo que es la excusa perfecta para volver.
