Hey there! My name is Mike and I'm part of the Freewalk Cologne family. After traveling for a while, I ended up in the city of Cologne and it fascinated me. Now, I can't imagine living anywhere else, especially after starting working with Freewalk Cologne.
The company started 10 years ago when a bunch of locals in love with their city had a goal to show tourists Cologne through the eyes of locals and give everyone the „kölsche Gefühl“, the Cologne feeling. And nowadays, we're still here, ready to welcome you to Cologne and show you the hidden corners of our home!

My walk in Cologne was informative and fun! I appreciated that my guide took seriously the appropriate historical events (like the Nazi occupation and people murdered) while bringing levity to other parts of the city’s history (like interesting decorations on the city hall).
