Essential Free walking tours of Jaipur

Thoroughly enjoyed going on this walk, it was enlightening and taught me many new things about Indian culture and heritage. Would recommend as an activity to see Jaipur instead of the more popular sites such as the forts.

We had an excellent experience with our guide Adi in Jaipur, whom we found on the GuruWalk platform. The tour started at Jantar Mantar and covered the Pink City in great detail. Adi took us to several key places, including Govind Dev Ji Temple, Shree Kalki Temple, and the traditional bazaars, explaining everything in a clear and engaging way. Along the way, we also enjoyed a delicious local lassi together. He has a strong academic background in history and is currently pursuing a PhD, which really shows in the depth of his knowledge about Indian culture and history. We asked many questions throughout the tour, and he answered all of them thoroughly and patiently. Beyond the tour itself, Adi shared valuable tips for our stay in Jaipur and India, and recommended several places worth visiting. He is highly professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what he does. We feel very lucky to have met him and would strongly recommend his tours. He also offers other experiences such as Amber tours and food tours, so it’s worth checking those out as well.

Haseeb was excellent. His tour was a real contrast to the tour we had done of the main historical sites of Jaipur the previous day. Very insightful on religion and politics and took us to places off - but near - the standard tourist trail.

One of the best walking tours we've been on so far. Hasseb knows Jaipur inside out and knows everything about the historical facts. You also get to know local life through the markets. The stops for a quick snack, lassi, and something sweet were great. All in all, a totally amazing experience. We would do it again anytime.

Hasseb is a great guide and is very knowledgeable about the Indian culture. He’s very professional, you can ask him every question and is trying to answer everything as good as possible. We had several free walking tours around the world but this one was definitely the most interesting.

I recommend this tour and guide although we were unlucky because a lot of places were closed due to Holi (not guide fault). The guide itself had a lot of interesting stories to say ;)

Hasseb’s tour was wonderful! He took us to many interesting sights, but it was his history and context of Indian life (caste, arranged marriages, religion, politics, etc) that really made it great. No question was too dumb, and he willingly and knowledgeably talked about it all. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jaipur!

We had such a fantastic tour today with Aditya! The perfect introduction to Jaipur - a great balance of history, old and new culture, several temple visits and even a lassi stop! Although there were only 6 of us, he wore a microphone so we could hear him at all times. In addition to being super knowledgeable (he’s a PHD student from Jaipur), he was also super nice. Highly recommend!!

The tour with Aditya in Jaipur has been our best tour guide in India. Aditya prepared photos and material to show us the history, culture and architecture of the city. We walked through the main places in the city and learned a lot about history, religion, traditions and stories. Aditya was very clear and helpful in his explanations, answering our questions and eager for feedback. Thanks a lot!

The two guys from Richi Walk ŵere excellent. The fact that one rode at the from and the other at the back, made me feel so much safer. The picked the stops very well. Enjoyed stopping for masala chai and a little breakfast.

We had so much fun, we were guided through the historic city exploring its secrets. The guide told us about its architecture, its secrets and he even timed the tour exactly to enter the temples when they opened and to witness a ceremony. I recommend!

Eddie was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, patient and kind. I learned a lot and did and saw many things I didn't expect to see. I was the only person on my tour so that allowed for the extra flexibility. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Aditya was very insightful in his explanations, and he's studying for his Doctorate in History, so you will learn a lot. It was a great combination of history of the city and India, with local culture. We had the chance to visit several temples, stroll around the Palace, and even have some tea.
