Free Walking Tour in New York

Entertaining and educational!!! We had a great time and learnt a lot which is exactly what we want from a walking tour. Not to miss when visiting New York!!!

I had no idea NYC could get so hot and humid! It didn't seem like a good day to take a tour but when I saw that this one included so many inside places on the route I thought that sounded good. It was so much better than I expected! The air-conditioned breaks from the heat were exactly what I needed. This would be a good tour on cold and/or rainy days as well. Kassi is an incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining guide! I'm looking forward to taking more tours with her.

Very interesting tour. Fascinating stories.. I have been to Greenwich Village a countless number of times and still learned a lot. Highly recommended to native New Yorkers as well as tourists.

We had a great time on this tour! Steve met us at Grand Central and even started things off by showing us the Whispering Wall — a fun surprise. Then we hopped on the 7 train to Jackson Heights, where we explored a vibrant neighborhood full of diverse cultures and flavors. Steve was an excellent guide, sharing tons of food recommendations — from Tibetan momos and Bengali phuchkas to the best Colombian bakeries and Mexican street food. After the tour, we tried several of the food trucks he pointed out, and everything was absolutely delicious. 10 out of 10 — just like Steve!

The tour of was very enjoyable. Our guide, Jon was very informative on all the historical sites and he constantly dropped interesting tidbits of information that were useful when exploring the city. He was very helpful in finding the best angle and poses for pictures. He answered all questions very well and made us feel like a part of history.

A fantastic tour with David, a really great way to see New York City! I enjoyed seeing the highlights of The Central Park with such a knowledgeable tour guide. Highly recommended.

She was a great guide, taking her time for every question we had, sharing interesting insights about the neighbourhood and showing us some good places to grab food. Highly recommended.

The tour with Diana was great! She shared stories about NYC that made the history so entertaining. She also showed us the city from a unique angle, taking us to places we wouldn't find without local knowledge. She just started as a guru recently and is driven by her passion of the city, and after the walk with her we felt that we are also in love with the NYC. Highly recommend!

Scott was super knowledgeable, engaging and friendly! I learned so much and he had pictures to help us visualize certain areas of nyc. I highly recommend and will definitely do more tours with him

Jon blew me away. I knew the views over the bridge would be great, but WOW! These views were astounding. Not to mention the way he timed everything to get to the promenade just in time for the sunset. I'll be using CityShuffles EVERY time I come to New York!

John was a fantastic guide! He kept us engaged with fun facts and historical insights. Walking along Fifth Avenue and stopping at places like the New York Public Library and Rockefeller Center made me fall in love with NYC all over again!

Really informative and interesting tour, full of delicious food. Jon is very attentive, knowledgeable and fun. I'll definitely book other food tour with them!

My only regret, is not having a second stomach. Jon knows ALL the best spots and ALL the best things to eat at each one. I'm not going to lie, FOMO definitely kicked in and I will absolutely be back to many of these spots to try other things but I feel like Jon really let us know what the very best options were. Jon was really funny too by the way. I don't know if he means to be as funny as he is but he had us all laughing the entire time. Thank you Jon!

Jon is the BEST! This was not a tour, but an entire experience. I felt like I was walking through history. Every direction we looked there was a story and an opportunity for photos. This was one of the coolest tours I've ever been on and I highly recommend it. Thank you Jon!

I can not stress this enough; BRING YOUR APPETITE! As we navigated around the city and Jon shared facts and laughs with us, we got to try SO MANY amazing things. I encourage you all to do the same thing I did and make a list so you can go back and have it again. Every single stop was worthwhile! Jon also told gave us tons of great recommendations for other places to eat, things to see, and tours to take. Jon is THE MAN!

Jon was amazing. This guy has 3 answers for any question you could think of. He was funny, kept us going at a great pace, and took the time to answer questions, tell us stories, and make the trip seem like it was customized toward our questions and interests. I can't wait to take more tours with Jon!

Scott was so knowledgable and friendly! The museum is so large it would have felt overwhelming without him, we covered more in about 2 hours than I would have found all day without him. He was a great guide who gave interesting and easy to understand information, and gave us time to look at the art.

Kassi is amazing! This tour was informative, fun, and interesting. I learned so many things and saw a part of NYC that I’ve never explored. Kassi is clearly passionate about what she does and is an expert on all things alternative! The whole group was hanging on her every word. Take this tour! I promise you won’t regret it.

Meri is a super bright and engaging guide— even though I’ve lived in NYC for ten years, she had incredible and thorough information that I did not know!! I loved her sense of humor as well. In a city that has so much history, her tour was well curated and she fostered a dynamic that encouraged everyone to connect and share with each other. 11/10 would recommend booking a tour with Meri! Plus she knows her NYC food and movie history big time :)

It has been a spectacular tour of the most beautiful areas of the city, it has been an incredible experience. Jon is an excellent guru and I recommend him to everyone... I will be back!

It was a great walk with a nice and knowledgeable guide. We visited seemingly obvious places, but with Scott, we discovered so many interesting facts about them.

Excellent tour and we enjoyed Christmas lights tour. Jasmin took us to all the best spots and the best was Rockefeller Christmas tree. We definitely recommend this tour.
