We searched for a walk that stands out against the enormous list of historical tour offers in Zanzibar and we certainly have found it!! Saida is a very knowledgeable and engaged women who knows what she stands for. With her we could engage in an highly interesting and open conversation, about history, architecture, culture, etc but more importantly also about the present daily life, it's challenges, especially regarding woman, and interesting initiatives and projects facing those challenges. We had a wonderful and insightful time, never to forget!! :-)

Ali is an excellent guide. He has great knowledge or the history of Zanzibar and Stone Town. He is engaging and provides a lot of detail of the sites and history. It is a well paced tour and i recommend it to anyone visiting Stone Town

Taking the walking tour with Ali was the best decision we could've made in Stonetown. He was so knowledgable and kind, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to spend our first day there. We would highly recommend Ali - possibly the best walking tour we've ever done.

We did the Stone Town tour with Daud and it was an excellent experience. He spent two hours with us, showing us the most important spots in the city with great patience and dedication. We are from Argentina and speak Spanish, and he kindly explained everything slowly and clearly so we could understand. He was also very considerate and waited patiently while we stopped to buy souvenirs. We highly recommend taking this tour with him!

Nassor was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of the questions from everyone in the group, even the ones that weren’t related to the tour. The route covered all the main areas so I feel like we learnt the most important things about stone town. Nassor was very friendly, open and patient. Would recommend for anyone visiting stone town! Amazing visit, visiting the most iconic places of Stone Town and giving constantly comments about the history of the city and the Island. We really enjoyed!

Our tour was with Musa as as Khalfan was unable to attend on the very short notice we gave (we only gave a few hours notice). Musa is a really nice young guy and we really enjoyed his company & chatting with him very much but I think he needs to improve his knowledge and English language skills a little bit. But he is very young and he has potential to be a great tour guide with abit more experience (he is still very young so will certainly develop this).

Certainly orientates you to the area and would give confidence to explore further on your own. The 3pm tour temperature size was good. It would have been good to know that we were going to end up in a food market area. It would have been good to know whether the food would have been safe to eat
