We had a great time with Gus! He was so informative on not only the points he had ready but could answer any of our questions, even those that might not have been relevant to our topic. His personality is funny and positive, I had a great time getting to know him and learning about Pamplona.

If you only have a few days in Pamplona this is the tour for you. Wonderful introduction to the city, its history and especially the experience of the Festival of San Fermin Gus is personable and easy going. He was very generous with his time and offered unique experiences such as teaching us some basic Basque words, a stop at a sweet shop and giving us a try at playing Jai Alai. When we passed by the restaurant La Olla, one of the servers yelled out “The best guide in Pamplona “. I couldn’t agree more.

Gus was amazing. He met us at the designated spot and from there on the tour was very fun, entertaining snd interesting. Gus had excellent knowledge of Pamplona and kept the group engaged the whole time. He shared some of his personal experience running with the bulls, local restaurants and the city’s highlights. Gus was an absolute gem! We walked the entire city where he shared personal stories, history, and photos from various events. Gus was beyond kind - I wish I could do the tour again!

Gus was not our guide but his replacement was terrific! We apologise for forgetting his name. He was very informative and interesting - historical and local. I had wanted to see the Statue of St Ignatius of Loyola and he did bring us there towards the end of the tour. He concluded the tour by telling us the places we could possibly try out different food in Pamplona. The Pintxos at Gaucho was delicious! Thank you for a great morning in Pamplona.
