Free walking tours in Plovdiv

I would not visit Plovdiv without taking this tour.

Pavo did an amazing job and gave us gpod recommendations for food etc.!

Alexander was a pleasure to walk with and follow. He was charming and chatty and gave the group time for questions and photo opportunities.

Die Tour ist nur Sonntags, ich wollte anfangs die historische Tour machen und hab mich spontan unentschieden als die beiden Gruppen eingeteilt wurden am Treffpunkt. Das hab ich keine Sekunde bereut.

We truly enjoyed our walking tour with Mila, finding her to be friendly, funny and entertaining. The tour lasted about 2.5 hours, and it was a great way to spend our time in Plovdiv. (We also took their Socialist Architecture tour the following day, and that tour was also very informative and entertaining.)

Tsveta is an amazing guide, knowledgeable, fun, her presentation is excellent, so is her route. We learned so much during her tour!

Such a great way to learn about Plovdiv and so many interesting stories along with it! I had a great time learning about the architecture and past as well as the local legends on this tour!

The Free Plovdiv walking tour was one of the highlights of our visit. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the city. In just a couple of hours we learned so much history, local stories, and hidden details we would never have noticed on our own. A fantastic experience — informative, entertaining, and absolutely worth it!

I go on free walking tours on nearly every trip, and Adi has been the best tour guide I’ve ever had the pleasure of walking with! She is extremely entertaining and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Plovdiv!

We learned a lot about the amazing and long history of Plovdiv and the Bulgarian people. We walked through history with Pavel's guidance. Daniel estuvo fantástico, mantiene un hilo informal divertido y sin darte cuenta con gran cantidad de datos. El tour se pasó rápido y fueron casi 3 horas. Lo recomiendo 100% me encantaría que hubiese algún otro.

This was a great introduction to Plovdiv. Our guide, Nemco, was really funny, and he was full of great information. We saw a great deal of the city in 2 hours, and he was also very helpful with recommendations. I definitely recommend this tour!
