Free Walking Tours through Old Split

Mirjani is a great educator of Croatian history. She gave a local perspective of Split as a country and of its people. She’s knowledgeable, articulate and has a good sense of humor. She shared a lot of recommendations on non-touristic places to visit and restaurants. Anyone visiting Split for the first time, or 100 times must join her tour.

It was a Fantastic tour! We are a family of 5 including children ages 9, 12 and 13. Even the children found the history interesting. We really appreciated it was a small group, specially as she guides groups of max. 12 people. We would definitely recommend to take this tour.

Our guide was full of energy, expression, and joy, every story she told came to life through her gestures and passion. She made us feel completely involved and part of the experience, not just spectators. The information was clear and easy to understand, but what truly stood out was how she made us feel. She showed us a beautiful way to see the city, and some of us even got emotional, it was that touching. Truly one of the most special tours I’ve ever been on. Highly recommended!

That way, she opens your eyes to the culture and soul of Split (and Croatia) in a very special way. She gives away so many tips for the city and other tours around the area that you should consider doing her tour at the beginning of your stay.

Unser Tourguide war sehr sympathisch und hat uns eine sehr persönliche Tour gegeben - hat sich angefühlt wie mit einer Bekannten die Stadt zu erkunden. Neben den ganzen historischen Fakten hat man auch einen sehr guten Eindruck vom Leben in Split bekommen :)
